Each patch cable is subjected to a Class EA Channel Link Test after assembly. After successful measurement, each patch cable is provided with a wrap-around label including an individual serial number. The serial number is also listed on the enclosed measurement report for clear traceability. This gives users and operators of data networks the certainty that these patch cables work without transmission problems in the Class EA Channel Link.

These Cat. 6A patch cables comply with the highest international safety regulations. They have been tested and found suitable by Underwriter Laboratories (UL) in accordance with applicable safety regulations in the USA and Canada.

The conductor of this patch cable consists of 99.99 % oxygen-free copper (OFC/CU). This high-quality cable construction enables optimum signal transmission and higher breaking strength of the cable. For perfect signal transmission, the RJ45 plugs are shielded and equipped with 50 µ gold-plated copper contacts.

The S/FTP shielding (PiMF) of the cable and the shielded RJ45 plugs ensure a consistently high and loss-free signal transmission.

In contrast to PVC cables, the Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable sheath causes only very low levels of toxic fumes and smoke development in the event of a fire. This makes the cables ideal for indoor installation - they are mandatory in public areas.
