Display board I/O expander
The Serial Pi Adapter from 4D Systems is an adapter board that enables most display modules from 4D Systems to be connected to the Raspberry Pi platform via a simple 5-pin connector. The Serial Pi Adapter offers a serial interface with a direct I/O connection to the Raspberry Pi. The adapter forwards the power supply from the Raspberry Pi to the display module, which means that no external power supply is required.
The serial adapter is compatible with the Raspberry Pi A, B and B+.
