The Narwhal series has been specially developed for marine and coastal applications. The mobile antennas have ultra-wideband coverage and operate from 617 to 4200 MHz, covering the current 5G/LTE bands for mobile communications. The Narwhal series will offer a variety of antenna configurations with 5G/LTE or Wi-Fi antennas that can range from SISO to 2x2 to 4x4 MIMO.
Thanks to IP68, the antenna is protected against the ingress of water. This makes it ideal for unfavourable weather conditions at sea. The antenna housing consists of a fibreglass housing and a 316 stainless steel base and cover. This makes the antenna fully salt water protected and suitable for use in highly corrosive environments, including chemical and toxic environments.
