With the Snom Beacon solution, Snom offers a cost-effective and modern solution for integrating professional location and asset tracking as well as alarm systems** into any existing Snom DECT multicell system*.

The Snom M9T Tag is a 2 EURO coin-sized tag that can be attached anywhere. It establishes a connection to the Snom M9B Beacon Gateway via Bluetooth LE***. The tag can be attached to any conceivable object. Its signals are detected by the Snom M9B and processed to determine its position (RX mode).

The tag uses Bluetooth LE and is therefore very energy efficient. It has a motion sensor and therefore only activates when movement is detected, which in turn saves energy. All this enables a long battery life.

This allows a wide range of scenarios to be mapped, from indoor navigation, theft protection, inventory management, tracking solutions and much more. The beacons are inexpensive to purchase, can be installed with minimal effort and consume hardly any power thanks to the BLE standard (Bluetooth Low Energy). In addition, beacons do not normally interfere with existing infrastructures such as WLAN, DECT or mobile radio. Even medical devices remain undisturbed.
