The MCE448 solar LED lamp is a product that is ideal for warm evenings in the garden, in the gazebo or even indoors. Thanks to the possibility of replacing the batteries with rechargeable batteries, it can also work on cloudy days.
The product is equipped with a switch that allows the user to select one of two operating modes or switch off the power supply. There is also a twilight sensor built into the solar panel, which activates the device in the dark.
How it works: The lamp attracts insects with a violet LED/UV light that is harmless to humans, whereupon the net surrounding the light source electrocutes the insects.
On cloudy days, when the lamp is not charging sufficiently, you can replace the batteries with a set of rechargeable batteries or charged AA batteries (LR06).
The lamp can be mounted in 3 ways: hang it on a bracket, stick it into the ground or a pot with the pin provided or simply place it on a table.
The lamp's light source is powered by rechargeable batteries that draw power from an inbuilt solar cell (panel) during the day. This converts the sunlight into electrical energy, which is stored in the built-in batteries. After dark, the stored electricity is used to operate the lighting element, i.e. the LEDs.
The maximum operating time with fully charged batteries is 8 hours.
