The MCE468 sensor is ideal for use in the garden, around the house or patio, at the gate, in passageways, corridors, cellars, warehouses, garages and other places where lighting or other devices should be switched on when movement is detected.
The sensor detects day and night (twilight sensor) and switches on or off depending on the presence of an object in the detection area.
A detection angle of 180° and a detection distance of up to 12 metres enable effective monitoring of a large area.
The main purpose of the sensor presented is to automatically control the lighting, but it is also possible to control other electrical devices (e.g. electric heaters, air conditioners).It is also possible to connect other electrical devices (e.g. electric heaters, air conditioners, etc.) to it, provided that the energy receiver does not load the switch with a power of more than 1200 W (resistive load) or 600 W (inductive load).
Versatile use to control the lighting of a variety of objects:
- facades of residential buildings, courtyards, entrances, gates, garden greenery
- car parks - external walls of buildings and other architectural structures
- advertising boards and billboards, shop windows
- many other objects, also indoors
The device can be operated both at night and during the day. The TIME rotary knob is used to set the lighting duration (from approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes).
The LUX rotary knob is used to set the sensitivity of the ambient light (range from 3 to 2000 LUX). If the ambient light is not sufficient and you want the device to work both during the day and at night, set the rotary knob to the day position (sun symbol).
