Product Description
With this set by Delock, patch cables can be locked in a network socket. The secure clip is attached to the RJ45 plug and replaces the latching lug. This allows the plug to be locked in the RJ45 socket, protecting the cable against removal. At the same time, the socket is locked and protected against unauthorised use. This means that physical access to the network can be controlled in security-relevant areas, e.g. in public spaces or data centres. The system can be used with standard patch cables. The Secure Clip tool is required to release the locking mechanism.
Note
The Delock Repair Clip 86420 can be used to restore the normal function of the RJ45 connector.
