Product Description

Unleash the full potential of WiFi 6 with multi-gigabit PoE+ ports
Equipped with 8× 2.5 Gbps PoE+ ports, ensures future-proof network expansions and installations, with enough bandwidth for WiFi 6 access points. This switch provides 30 W of PoE power to all 8 ports simultaneously via each port, with a total budget of 240 W, making the switch suitable for a variety of different deployment scenarios.
Enterprise switch with 10G uplink
2x 10 Gbps SFP+ slots enable full simultaneous uplink of all downlinks for non-blocking switch performance, ultra-low latency for reliable, lightning-fast provisioning of connections to servers and switches.
Software Defined Networking (SDN) with cloud access
The Omada SDN integrates network devices such as access points, switches and gateways for 100% centralised cloud management. This allows highly scalable networks to be controlled from a single interface, seamlessly providing WLAN and LAN connections. Ideal for use in education, hospitality, offices and more.
Advanced L3 features
A variety of L2+ and L3 features are supported to enable the creation of highly scalable and robust networks that provide reliable and efficient solutions for businesses, educational institutions and ISPs.
Secure network creation
Security features include IP-MAC port VID binding, port security, storm control and DHCP snooping to defend against a range of network threats. An integrated list of common DoS attacks is available, making it easier than ever to prevent them. In addition, the Access Control List (ACL, L2 to L4) function restricts access to sensitive network resources by blocking packets based on source and destination MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports or VLAN ID. User network access can be controlled via 802.1X authentication, which works with a RADIUS/Tacacs+ server to grant access only when valid user credentials are provided.
Enterprise-level features
A full range of L2+ features are supported, including 802.1Q VLAN, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol and 802.3x Flow Control. Advanced IGMP Snooping ensures that the switch intelligently forwards multicast streams only to the appropriate subscribers and prevents unnecessary traffic, while IGMP Throttling & Filtering restricts each subscriber at the port level to prevent unauthorised multicast access. Static routing is a simple method of segmenting the network and routes traffic internally through the switch for improved efficiency.
Advanced QoS
Voice and video traffic can be prioritised based on IP address, MAC address, TCP port number, UDP port number, etc. With QoS (Quality of Service), voice and video services remain smooth, even when bandwidth is scarce.
Functions targeted at data centres and internet providers
sFlow, QinQ, L2PT PPPoE ID Insertion and IGMP authentication are integrated functions with which we respond to the requirements of internet providers. 802.3ah OAM and Device Link Detection Protocol (DLDP) offer simplified monitoring and troubleshooting of network interfaces.
IPv6 support
IPv6 functions such as Dual IPv4/IPv6 Stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, Path Maximum Transmission Unit (PMTU) Discovery and IPv6 Neighbour Discover guarantee that your network is ready for the next generation (NGN) without you having to replace your hardware.
