This RS-232 isolator from Delock is suitable for protecting the connected components from electrostatic discharges and overvoltages. In addition, the galvanic isolation prevents data transmission errors in case of uneven earth potentials. A power supply can be provided via the serial interface or the enclosed power supply unit. Top-hat rail mounting is supported.
