RJ45 to 100 Mbps single-mode converter

TL-FC111B-20 is a 100M media converter with a 100M RJ-45 port and a 100M SC fibre port that can convert between electrical and optical signals. Long distance data transmission over fibre can be applied to commercial scenarios such as parking security monitoring and wireless networking.

The TL-FC111B-20 uses Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, which allows data to be sent and received at distances of up to 20 km using only a single-mode fibre. This saves customers half the cost of cable provisioning. TL-FC111B-20 transmits data with a wavelength of 1310 nm and receives data with a wavelength of 1550 nm on one optical fibre. Therefore, the terminal device used in conjunction with TL-FC111B-20 should transmit data with a wavelength of 1550 nm and receive data with a wavelength of 1310 nm.
