This sturdy metal removable frame by Delock can be installed in a free 5.25″ slot of a PC using an optional frame. It is also possible to use the removable frame directly in a server rack or 19″ storage housing.
The special mechanism allows the SSDs to be replaced quickly and easily. For example, data backups can be removed and stored in a safe place.
The removable frame has a key lock to ensure that only authorised persons can remove the hard drive. The sturdy metal support has springs on the top and bottom to minimise vibrations.
