The official case for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+
is made of the same sturdy plastic as all other official cases.
The colour combination is identical, as is the Rapberry Pi Foundation logo on the lid.
All the ports required or usable for the Model A+ are available in the side panels.
The first published model, the Raspberry Pi A+, also fits into the case, but the two status LEDs are then not visible. Since the introduction of the Raspberry Pi 3, the WLAN / Bluetooth feature (antenna or radio electronics) has been located at this position.
The tool- and screw-free assembly of all housing parts, as well as the insertion and locking of the Raspberry Pi 3 A+ board, is carried out as with the “large” model. This means that “everything remains the same” with the new housing.
