With the Qubino Mini Dimmer, you can integrate existing lighting installations into the Z-Wave network. The connected lighting can still be switched and dimmed with the existing wall switch, but thanks to Z-Wave radio also by remote control, smartphone or sensor-controlled automatic.

The currently smallest Z-Wave radio module is placed in a wall box directly behind the conventional switch already located there and transforms standard electrical installations into intelligent Z-Wave-based radio systems. The existing switch no longer switches and dims the consumer directly, but only delivers a control signal to the Qubino module, which in turn controls the consumer. This control takes place either via the local switch or via radio. The Qubino module works with any switch series and any design, as long as there is enough space for installation in the recessed box. In large 65 mm deep boxes, this should regularly be the case. In smaller boxes (e.g. 45 mm), the possibility of use depends on the required depth of the conventional switch as well as the space requirement of the electrical connectors that may also be located in the box.
