The OMNI-498 is a dual-band Wi-Fi omnidirectional antenna for use at sea and in coastal areas. The antenna provides dual-band Wi-Fi coverage in the 2.4 GHz and 4.9 to 7.2 GHz bands, making it ideal for any Wi-Fi access point, whether it is older Wi-Fi technology or new technology up to Wi-Fi 6E (7.2 GHz). The antenna offers 2×2 MIMO capability through its vertically separated radiating elements, providing true omni-directional coverage suitable for marine and coastal applications.The OMNI-498 has been specifically designed for harsh environments and has an IP68 rating against dust and water ingress, with the antenna filled with foam. The radome is fully protected against salt water and can also be used in highly corrosive environments thanks to the UV-stable ASA radome material.
