This magnetic adapter from Delock is compatible with Thunderbolt™ 3, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB Type-C™ DP Alt Mode and can be used when connecting Thunderbolt™ and USB Type-C™ devices. The adapter can also be used as a port saver to protect the interface in applications with high mating cycles. The adapter is designed to remain in the device’s port to prevent wear and tear on the port and to act as a dust shield.
Magnetic function
When using the adapter, the cable can be connected to the counterpart of the adapter, which then magnetically connects to the remaining part in the device.
