This outstanding battery performance not only keeps the Octa-Core 1.5 GHz processor with up to 3 GB RAM (GS270 plus) going for a reliably long time; it can also be used as a power bank to power external USB devices at the same time because of the USB on-the-go technology. You can plug external USB devices, such as a mouse, keyboard or stick, directly into your smartphone and use them easily. And if the battery ever does run out, you can recharge it again quickly using the integrated fast-charging function.

The IPS full HD in-cell display always provides razor-sharp images on the 5.2″ screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. To make sure it stays that way, the surface of the display consists of highly scratch-resistant, super-smooth 2.5D glass with rounded edges. In addition, an anti-smudge surface reduces finger-marks and effectively prevents dirt build-up. Thanks to the in-cell technology, the display is also thinner than traditional screens, making the Gigaset GS270 an elegant, slim smartphone.

The Gigaset GS270 not only looks good –it also takes superb photos and videos. Whether it’s a selfie, panorama, slow-motion video or photo montage – with the 13 MP autofocus main camera and the 5 MP front camera, everything’s easy. Countless setting options, multi-effect mode with various colour effects and contactless gesture control mean that you can take perfect photos intuitively in any situation. With the picture-in-picture function, you can incorporate two images in one photo – perfect for sending holiday greetings with a selfie to friends and family.

The Gigaset GS270 has slots for two cards. Thanks to the dual standby functionality, you can either operate two SIM cards simultaneously, such as your normal card plus a local prepaid card when you’re on holiday. Or you can use a MicroSD card instead of a SIM card and so expand your memory by up to 128 GB. That’s enough space for around 55,000 photos, 18,000 songs or 30 HD movies.

Maximum performance when you’re out and about: The Gigaset GS270 supports 4G LTE with Cat 6 at up to 300 Mbit/s – fast enough to send large quantities of data or stream films in HD. In addition, you’ll also benefit from two new advances in mobile telephony: “”Voice over WiFi”” (VoWiFi)* uses all WiFi networks to transmit voice calls in superb quality. And “”Voice over LTE”” (VoLTE)* provides the best voice quality when you’re out. Both connection standards also guarantee much faster connection set-up.

Functionality and convenience at your fingertips: The Gigaset GS270 has a multifunctional fingerprint sensor that makes so many things easier for you. Positioned on the back for ease of operation, the fingerprint scanner recognises up to five different fingerprints. This means that you can not just unlock your phone easily, but also assign functions to individual fingerprints, such as scrolling through the browser, answering calls, taking photos or switching off the alarm. The smart features on the Gigaset GS270 make it even more convenient to use: With Smart Draw, you can open apps by drawing one of up to eight pre-defined letters on the display. And if you swipe with three fingers over the display from top to bottom, you can create screenshots.
